Of the four climate regions in Africa, the deserts would have to be the one that provides the most hardships for people to live in for a few reasons. First, the desert blazes with heat, and can reach over 120* F. There also isn't a lot of water in the deserts either. Water is very scarce, and as many know, we can't live without water. Another thing is that the desert doesn't grow crops at all, however, there is the occasional vegetation for animals to munch on.
The desert's climate is also very dry. That means no water, like I mentioned before, but it also means that if someone is walking home, they have to walk in the dry sand and gravel, with little water, in the blazing heat. That is just walking home. If you were to go to a far away school, you would have to get some sort of ride, like a camel, and walk or ride for a long time.
In conclusion, the deserts of Africa would provide the most hardships for people to live there. The blazing heat is a reason why, and so is the scarcity of water. Another thing is that not many crops grow there at all. There wouldn't be too much to eat, except the occasional vegetation for animals. The deserts, especially the Sahara, are not the best place for humans to avoid hardships.
