I am re-reading my favorite trilogy, The Hunger Games, by Suzanne Collins. I have gotten really far into my book within four days, since the book is so thrilling and exciting. Katniss and Prim are ready to go into the Square for the reapings of The Hunger Games, a fight to the death for entertainment. At the reaping, Prim, a little 12-year-old, is chosen from the crowd. Katniss is very worried for her sister, so she volunteers to go in for her. As the boy who be going into the reaping's name is called up, Effie Trinket, the guide for the games calls out the name Peeta Mellark, the boy Katniss has never spoken to, but is in so much debt for him.
Once, when Katniss and her family were starving, Peeta risked being beaten by his mother to go give Katniss bread, so that she and her mother and sister wouldn't starve to death. Katniss is really worried abiut what will happen in the games while she is there. As she bids good-bye's to her family and friends, she is off on the train to lead her and Petta to the Capitol, where the bloddy fight of 24 people happens for the entertainment of those people. After they arrive, Katniss is taken by her stylists to be styled by the specialists, where her stylist, Cinna is. Katniss is shaved by the stylists, and they take her to Cinna, and he puts her into a lovely black outfit, and lights her cape with fake fire, as did Peeta's stylists, and when they come in the chariot to represent their District, Katniss is known as the girl on fire.
