The new book I'm reading is called, Princess For Hire.  It's about a girl named Desi Bascomb, from Idaho, who is trying to earn money for her future college. But, unforunately, the only job she can get is as a groundhog advertising a pet store. Snotty Celeste Juniper finds her in that ridiculous costume, laughs and walks away, probably going to tell everyone about it. Desi is tired of that snob. Her manager tells her it's her break, and shows her a magical fish tank. Desi thought he was a crazy nutball, but she wished on it anyways. When she was relaxing reading the paper hoping to find a new job for herself. She saw a crazy ad saying " PRINCESS FOR HIRE!" Desi laughed and thought that that was ridiculous. She said that would be cool. Right out of nowhere, a girl with crazy green hair appeared in her room. Desi freaked out, and the green-haired lady said that her name was Meredith Pouffinski. Desi and her traveled in a huge bubble that led them to an agency. Meredith explained what happened her in the rudest way she could possible. Desi was very upset, but tried not to show it. Meredith introduced her to a nice lady named Lilith. Lilith had lavender hair, and Desi wondered what was up with their crazy hairdos. Desi personally liked Lilith better than Meredith. Lilith was sweet, kind-hearted, while Meredith was rude and pinched her. Did I mention that Meredith purpously made Desi fill in for a princess in Las Vegas at a bug convention, dressed horribly as a caterpillar? Meredith Pouffinski and Lilith are two whole different people, who work in the same company, Facade, with two whole different hearts.
