Katniss is ready to attack and get the bag with the medication for Peeta inside. She puts Peeta to sleep with a sleeping syrup. After she does that, she prepares to go out to the feast that Claudius Templesmith called for at the Cornucopia. After she is prepared, she hides behind a tree, just waiting for the right time to go get the small pouch marked 12 with the medication for Peeta. Fox face jumps from nowhere, and steals her bag with the number 4 on it.     Katniss runs out next, and grabs the bag, but is then grabbed by Clove, who is from one of the Career districts.
     Clove held onto Katniss tightly, and opens her jacket, with is filled with dozens of pockets containing knives inside of them. Clove then takes a small knife and traces the outline of Katniss' lips, and the blood starts to pour out. Katniss is scared, and Clove talks about Rue, and how she and the Careers killed her. Katniss was so upset, and gets teary after remembering her time with Rue. Just then, when Clove is about to thrust a knife into Katniss, Thresh, the other member from District 11 pulls Clove from her neck. He asks her about Rue, and Clove is silent. Thresh keeps asking about Rue, and why she killed her. Then, Clove can't take it anymore, and screams for Cato to come help her. Cato responds, but it is too late. Thresh kills Clove with one hit of a rock on her head. Thresh tells Katniss that he will let her go this one time, just for trying to save the young, little, Rue. Thresh takes Clove and Cato's bag, and his own, and rushes away. 
     Katniss takes her small bag and runs back to her and Peeta's campsite. She pulls out the syringe, and thrusts it into Peeta's arm. Katniss then falls asleep and is awoken by Peeta. He is much better than he was before, and Katniss is very happy. But, just when the night sky goes off, and Katniss is sleeping, she discovers that not only Clove has died, but Thresh as well.

     There are some younger kids who are across the world, and they are from Japan. They looked at a problem for such a long time, and found the answer to the difficult problem, and solved it with the correct answer. But, when the American kids tried to look at it and solve it, they looked at it for about 30 seconds, and gave up on it, saying that they don't know. The Japanese kids were about 5, and the Americans older. This proves, that if you look at something, and study it for a while, then you will be successful. But, however, if you don't, then you will fail and not succeed.
     This article tells me a lot about our Computers class at Computech. Say that we are doing a difficult project, and someone does not get it on the first try, you don't just jump up and ask for help. You try again, and if you don't get it for many tries, you can then ask for help with your peers, and if that does not work, then your teacher. You cannot just give up, and just say that you can't do it because it is too hard. If you try again, you will be able to be successful. This is exactly how we should behave in our computers class, and in fact, all of our classes. We have to keep trying, persevering, and not giving up on things to quickly.
     We read this really helpful article, and I think it really helped me realize that I can't just jump up and ask for help. I have to try again, until there is no possible way, but if there is no supervisor to help me, I will think differently. If you are a CEO of a business, and you receive a problem to be fixed, and you give up, you will be fired. But, if you continue to try on and on, you will succeed in the work you are there for. As someone once said, "If at first you don't succeed, try, try again!"

Everything has now exploded, and Katniss' plan is successful. Katniss goes back to the meeting place she and Rue would have been, but Rue is trapped in some sort of a trap. Rue is screaming for Katniss to come help, and Katniss comes on time. She cuts open the trap, and sets Rue free. Rue gives Katniss a hug, when suddenly, a boy comes armed with a spear, and Katniss shoots an arrow at him, killing him on the spot. When she looks back at Rue, she is too late. Rue is dying.
Katniss was crying, and was really upset for the death of Rue. Rue pleads Katniss to win, and not leave her alone. Katniss nods yes, and Rue asks her to sing. She then sings the song she always sang to Prim when she was upset. After Katniss finished singing the song, the cannon fired for Rue's death, and Katniss is teary. Katniss feel she shouldn't just leave her like this, and finds many beautiful flowers, and decorates Rue with them. Then, she puts her first two fingers on her left hand to make a circle, and then puts the other three fingers on her mouth, and puts it up in the air, as if to say, 'I love you Rue. Rest in peace.' Then, after the hovercraft took Rue away, Katniss moved on to another place. A Game-maker then announced that two of the same district could win the games. Hearing this, Katniss yells Peeta's name.
Katniss is searching for Peeta, and cannot find him. She then uses her logic, and realizes Peeta can't live without water. Katniss then runs to the river, and finds Peeta, disguised on the floor, covered in mud. Katniss cleans Peeta off, and tells him to jump in the river to bathe himself. After Peeta comes out of the river, Katniss feels his hot skin, and knows he has a fever. She won't let Peeta die, and is determined that they will win the games together. 

     Katniss has met Rue, and she wants her more than ever to win and go back to her family in 11. When she and Rue talk, Rue tells her about things that happen in District 11, and Katniss tells her everything about District 12. They bond for a little while, when Katniss sees she is cold, and gives her something warm to have on. Then, Katniss goes out to find some wood here and there, and she starts a fire, and than cooks food for Rue and her to eat. They continues talking about their districts while eating, when Rue tells her that she has been watching the Careers and other tributes, and Katniss gives Rue more food, and she starts asking questions.
     Katniss asks Rue how many supplies the Careers have, even though that some of them died from the tracker jacker attack. Rue tells her that they have an entire big piece of territory where all their supplies are located. Katniss and Rue devise som sort of plan, and they are ready to start the next day. Katniss hides behind a tree, and Rue starts a fire somewhere else, attracting the Careers to leave their site. Once they left, the Foxface girl comes up, and she very carefully gets through there, but falls down, and screams, but nothing happened. 
     Suddenly, Katniss realized it. They had some sort of trap to kill people. Katniss looked around, and found out there were mines underneath there. She looks at something there, and sees a bag of apples. She takes a couple arrows, and shoots it, and hits the bag straight on. Everything explodes.

     Katniss is now on the run in the games, and a girl with a knife is coming over to throw it at her. Katniss jumps in a tree, and barely misses the knife to hit her. She picked it up, put it in the backpack she had picked up when the gong sounded in the arena. She is running around, looking in desperate need for water, when fireballs shoot out from different places to hit her, and her only, since she was known as 'the girl on fire.' Katniss thought that the Game-makers were laughing in their rooms, just clicking and dragging things that could end peoples' lives in one minute. Katniss felt something burning on her leg. It was fire.
     She is rololing downhill to get the fire off her leg, to keep herself safe and free. Finally, she does, but leg is aching terribly. She is looking in need of sponsors, to help save her leg from being in danger of letting her die, but nothing came. Katniss layed down in the grass, and felt mud, and mud means water. Katniss was near a river, and she ran towards it, and filled up a canteen of water, and she purified it with the iodine she found in the backpack. Katniss was really happy, that she took a short bath, and put on her damp clothes once again. She then found camp in a tree, and finally got the courage to look at her leg. It was red, and burning, just looking at it. Katniss was in great pain, and when she looked up, she saw a silver parachute sent down from a sponsor!
     Katniss was thankful, and quickly looked at what was in the parachute, which was burn medicine for her leg. As she put on the medicine, she felt relief, when she heard something in the tree. It was little Rue from District 11. She and Rue threw deadly tracker-jackers on the strong Career tributes, and many died, in which Katniss got a bow and arrows. 12-year-old Rue saw that Katniss was in pain, and she found special leaves, since she was from the agricultural district, chewed them, and rubbed it on Katniss' leg, hands, and face, to heal her. Katniss really wanted Rue as her ally in the games, and Rue agreed. Katniss was really happy, and she planned and hoped that is she lost in the games, she would want Rue to win.

     Katniss has just been styled by her stylist Cinna, and is known as 'the girl on fire' to the people of the Capitol. After she is styled and sent out in a chariot to represent her district, she has to go show the Game-makers her skills that she had. She has planned that she will show the Game-makers that she is excellently fluent at shooting arrows from a bow. When she went inside, she shot an arrow, but missed, and the Game-makers laughed and looked away. Katniss then shot another arrow, and it hit straight in the bulls-eye, but nobody was paying attention to her. She then shot an arrow up at them where they sat, and it hit an apple straight on the wall where they were sitting, and they were shocked. Katniss then did a little bow, and left angrily from there.
     Effie was furious at Katniss for what she had done to the Game-makers, and she knew she was going to get a low rating from them. As the scores played on the television screen, Peeta recieved an 8, and everyone got happy for him, since an 8 was a really good score. As Katniss' score was about to show up, Effie let out a scream, for Katniss had gotten an 11 in training! That was an extremely high score that no Career (the strongest in the games) could acheive! Katniss was happy, and knew she had a chance to survive in the games. The next day, when the tributes went up to the arena, Katniss was ready to start the games. The countdown had just begun, and Katniss heard the final 5 second countdown. Five. Four. Three. Two. One. The games have now begun.

     I am re-reading my favorite trilogy, The Hunger Games, by Suzanne Collins. I have gotten really far into my book within four days, since the book is so thrilling and exciting. Katniss and Prim are ready to go into the Square for the reapings of The Hunger Games, a fight to the death for entertainment. At the reaping, Prim, a little 12-year-old, is chosen from the crowd. Katniss is very worried for her sister, so she volunteers to go in for her. As the boy who be going into the reaping's name is called up, Effie Trinket, the guide for the games calls out the name Peeta Mellark, the boy Katniss has never spoken to, but is in so much debt for him. 

I have now finished my book, Princess For Hire.  The ending was very good. Miss Bascomb has just found her way into a sticky situation. The dear sweet Lilith she thought turned out to be an evil lady of horridness. Lilith was actually a mean strict agent, and Desi felt a little happy she had Meredith for her agent. Lilith pointed out all the mistakes that Desi had made during her jobs as being a sub princess, like the demanding as being Princess Simahaya. Another one is the horrible dancing and running away in the tribal dance for Princess Ama. The worst thing though, was the on kiss she had given to Prince Karl for her client. As Desi got upset and depressed, Meredith ran in with her excited expression, and said that there was good news. The Princess Progress Reports (PPRs) got back from Ama and Simahaya. The video was shown that Simahaya gave Desi a five out of five for the act of demanding she had done. Simahaya had said she was happy that she can now stand up for herself. The one shown from Ama was her being so happy, because Ama got to choose the husband she liked, and her dad is happier thatn ever with Ama because she/Desi smiled to him. The one from Elsa hadn't arrived yet. Desi was more worried about that one, but she was happy that her other two clients were so happy with her work. The judges decided Desi could advance to level two in the program. Desi and Meredith became friends and enemies with Lilith. As Desi was sent home, she realized she was still stuck in a dunk tank. A boy had pulled her out of there and saved her life. Desi and her mother were so grateful of that boy, Reed, for saving Desi's life. Meredith and Desi meet again, and that is the end of my book.

As my book reaches its final pages, Desi finishes up Elsa's task, saves Nana Helga, and gets Elsa's nana to let her go the polo match she alwasy wanted to go to. Once Desi goes to the bubble, Meredith tells Desi that she ahs failed again, and to close her ears. Desi closed them, and as Meredith opened her phone and answered a phone call, a voice exploded from the speaker! A judge from the royal court told Meredith to get there immediately, and the two reach to an elevator quickly. Once they are in the elevator, Meredith is bad-mouthing Desi in front of her, and Desi just snaps, and tells Meredith to stop being rude, and unfair, since Meredith treats her like a fool. Meredith stops talking, and leaves Desi to be in the courtroom by herself, where she may be fired from her job. Lilith, the sweet agent, is looking over the case for Desi, and Desi knows that sweet Lilith won't do anything wrong, and will save her for sure. But, then Lilith suddenly tells Desi that she gave her three minutes, and was being kind, Desi found out Lilith was truly an evil agent. Princess for Fire?

As I am getting closer to the end of my book, many things have been happening with Desi. She danced as an Amazon tribal princess jumping over fire, and ended up doing a dance move called "The Pony," and Meredith, Desi's agent is really upset with her, and doesn't think Desi deserves to be there. So, she gave Desi  a break, and sent her home, in Idaho. Desi whooshed back to her house, and nothing had changed. A parade was coming up, and Desi had to be the horse-cleaner-upper, and her mother was the lovely princess who sat on top of the seat. Afterwards, Desi had to go to a dunk tank, and work there. Celeste hit the button itself, and Desi flushed into the tank. Desi screamed for Meredith, and asked her for help, and lucky for her, Meredith appeared, unseen, and Desi flew away with her.
     Meredith is giving Desi another chance, as Princess Elsa, a sweet blonde princess who is banned from royalty because of her Nana Helga. Desi became Elsa, and had met Prince Karl and Prince Barrett, and Elsa was in love with Karl. Desi/Elsa tried to convince Nana to let her go to brunch with Karl, but Nana wouldn't budge. Finally, Desi/Elsa put on a nice dress, and walked out the door. Desi/Elsa found out that Karl really loves Elsa, and not Duchess Olivia, the girl he has to be with. What will Miss Desi Bascomb do next?
